About Me

     My name is Ruby Love, and I’m a young photographer and printmaker living in Lawrence, Kansas.

     I first became interested in art, music and fashion at a young age, and quickly switched from digital to analog photography in search of a deeper involvement in the process. I work often in a home darkroom, developing film and smaller scale prints.

    Pursuing a love of painting and illustration, I took up screen printing as a method of reproducing my art. Becoming more than just a medium, printmaking has become a passion over the past years.

     My latest endeavor has been publishing a zine in Lawrence and gaining experience photographing the local music scene.
